About doctor Helen
Hello! I’m Helen Kraak, a general practitioner from the Netherlands. In 2022, I moved to Spain with my family, and we now live on the beautiful Maresme coast.
As an expat myself, I understand that navigating healthcare in a new country can sometimes be challenging.
I offer consultations in English, Dutch and Spanish, with a personal and accessible approach to care.
I treat both children and adults, providing general medical care, preventive care and treatment for acute and ongoing health concerns. I also have experience with minor procedures, including local corticosteroid injections, IUD insertion and cervical screening.
My aim is simple: to provide high-quality medical care while making you feel comfortable, listened to and understood.

Many medical concerns can be assessed and treated by video consultation, including acute illnesses, mental health, skin problems, contraception, (peri)menopause and lifestyle concerns.
Video consultations are available across Spain.

I do not have direct billing agreements with private insurance companies (mutuas)
Many private insurance companies will reimburse 80 -100% of the costs of your medical treatment, depending on your policy. Please check this with your insurance beforehand.
